Service User Experience

What is the Friends and Family Test?

The Friends and Family Test question asks our service users to rate their overall experience of the service that they have received care from.  This question is included in all of Care Plus Group’s Service User Experience surveys and our Primary Care patient surveys.

The Friends and Family Test was originally introduced in hospitals in 2013 and has since been expanded to other fields such as GP practices, community services and mental health services. Care Plus Group reports our Friends and Family Test results to NHS England.
