The Health & Wellbeing Collaboratives have launched their Community Calendar for 2018, packed full of health promotion messages and key contact details. The calendar features volunteers from the collaboratives raising awareness of a range of health conditions.
This year marks the 11th year the calendars have been produced and despite having 2500 printed, they have proved so popular stocks have already run out. The calendars are distributed across NE Lincolnshire for free.
The volunteers came up with ideas for each month’s theme and are photographed dressed up to promote their messages, which range from dementia to social isolation to diabetes.
Julie Grimmer, Health and Wellbeing Collaboratives Programme Manager said:
“We have produced 2,500 calendars this year which we hand out free of charge in local communities and shops around NE Lincolnshire. It’s a good way of having health message present every month in people’s homes and there is useful information if people want to follow up on their health conditions.”
