The Care Plus Group Charitable Trust has recently donated £1000 to Cleethorpes Community Sports & Education (CCSE) as part of their Heart of the Community Project.
The Charitable Trust was set up to provide additional support and resources to improve the lives of people and communities living in North East Lincolnshire, extending the work of Care Plus Group. The Heart of the Community Project will see the whole community benefit from new classes and activities.
Trustee of the Care Plus Group Charitable Trust said:
“This incredible charity has taken the Trin Centre on Trinity Road in Cleethorpes from a dilapidated youth centre to a vibrant community centre in a matter of months. The activities on offer in the centre range from sporting to social events and from toddlers through to teens and older people. We decided to support this project to raise £3,000 though the Crowdfunder platform to help further their work in our community knowing that every penny raised was going to be matched by Sport England Funding.”
“The work of Cleethorpes Community Sport and Education is primarily improving the health and wellbeing of our community which complements the aspirations of our Charitable Trust”
Andy Cox, Chief Executive Officer of Cleethorpes Community Sports and Education said:
“This very kind donation will help us further our developments to the centre. We are in the very early stages in our project and like any new charity or business the early times are the most crucial in terms of finances.
“This cash boost will enable us to progress some structural works to start the next stage of our healthy futures project.
“We are very grateful to the Care Plus Charitable Trust and all the other donations and support we have received so far.”
