Care Plus Group highly commended for Employee Owned Innovation of the Year

Care Plus Group is delighted to be announced as being highly commended in the Employee Owned Innovation of the Year Award category in the UK Employee Ownership Awards.



The awards run by the EOA and sponsored by Baxendale were held at the EOA Gala Dinner on the 27 November at the Hilton Metropole Hotel Birmingham.

The awards celebrate the significant contribution employee owned businesses make to the UK economy and the Employee Owned Innovation of the Year Award celebrates a business that has a compelling example of innovation within an employee owned organisation that is currently enhancing the services and/or products of the business.

Care Plus Group’s bespoke ‘Aspire’ programme, which recognises and develops internal talent, was highly commended for the way it pulls together a blended learning programme across coaching, team building, project management and learning styles in which participants identified and worked on actual projects that benefitted the organisation. The judges felt that this was a case of ‘it’s not what you do it’s the way that you do it’ when they read Care Plus Groups submission.

“We developed the Aspire Programme, as part of our succession planning, to nurture individuals who want to develop and progress and also have the potential to be successful managers and leaders for Care Plus Group.

"The Training & Development Team worked with staff and teams across the organisation to put together a bespoke programme based on the organisation’s needs. We’re delighted to have been highly commended in the Employee Ownership awards and for the work on the Aspire programme to be recognised.”
