Care Plus Group’s Employability Services have won the Best Employer Support for Apprenticeships Award at the Skills for Care Accolades awards 2015/2016. The awards, which took place on 10th March in Birmingham, celebrate outstanding organisations that deliver best practices within adult social care. The Best Employer Support for Apprenticeships award shows an employer’s commitment to the apprenticeship programme whilst delivering high quality care and development.
Sharon Stead, Employability Services Manager at Care Plus Group and Regional Apprenticeship Ambassador explained:

Employability Services consider apprenticeships as a vital part of Care Plus Group recruitment model and support other local employers to embed apprenticeships within their workforce by acting as a training and recruitment ‘hub’ for all sectors across North East Lincolnshire. This enables other businesses to enjoy the success of how apprenticeships can add value to all sectors.
In addition to winning the award at the Accolades, Sharon Stead has also been nominated for ‘Leadership Award’ and Laura Robinson (Employability Services) for a Rising Star Award under the category of ‘Made the Most Impact’ at the Health Education England – Talent for Care Awards 2016, due to take place on Friday 18th March 2016.
