“The quality of the recruitment process was excellent and the quality of the staff equally so”
Care Plus Group in collaboration with North East Lincolnshire Council and North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group worked speedily to open up a new facility, Cambridge Park, which provides residential and nursing care capacity in the community to alleviate demand on the local hospital in these unprecedented Covid-19 times.
To support the recruitment of staff for this critical development, Employability Services utilised their expertise to recruit 17 new employees for Cambridge Park. These roles ranged from cooks, housekeepers, administration and maintenance/gardener.
Jay Sadler, Operations Manager at Cambridge Park said: “Cambridge Park had the privilege of working in partnership with our Employability Services team to ensure safe and effective staffing levels for the kitchen, admin and housekeeping.
“The quality of the recruitment process was excellent and the quality of the staff equally so. Standards of performance across the board for these staff members has been superb. Thank you Employability we could not have opened without you.”
Sharon Stead, Business and Innovation Manager said: “Employability Services offer a range of cost effective recruitment initiatives to Care Plus Group and other local employers, and were delighted to assist Cambridge Park with recruiting to this key development. In turn this has led to the service supporting other areas of the organisation, allowing managers to focus on their day job and leave the recruitment to the experts.”
