Holly continues to excel in her role as Receptionist following her successful Kickstart recruitment. She engaged with Care Plus Group’s Employability Services to access suitable Kickstart vacancies, however initially when she wasn’t successful in securing a role, she became despondent.
Sandie, her Employability Support Officer said:
“Holly’s confidence was knocked, however we continued working together until Holly was successful in gaining a receptionist role at Learning4Life. Perseverance paid off! Holly excelled in her role and integrated well with both the staff and learners alike. Holly’s confidence blossomed and she has gone from strength to strength. Well done, Holly!”
“The kickstart programme has helped me massively by getting me into a role I’ve always wanted to do and giving me the experience I need.”
Learning4 Life Manager, Claire said:
“The Kickstart programme has been excellent in allowing, a once shy and quiet, Holly to really grow her confidence and shine as a receptionist. Holly has developed a truly professional yet caring relationship with all staff, and learners at Learning4life and shown real determination to learn new skills throughout her time with us”.
The Kickstart programme was a government initiative aimed at supporting young people aged 16-24 years onto an employment pathway by providing funding to create job placements.
