Natasha Pennock – Journey to Success!

Natasha is smiling as she starts her career journey as a Catering Assistant.

Following a referral to Employability Services, Natasha was looking for support to gain hands on experience to enhance her existing skills and gain employment. Looking for a placement in catering, her Employability Support Officer encouraged her to apply for a Kickstart vacancy at Cambridge Park Rehabilitation and Enablement Unit.

The Kickstart programme is a government initiative aimed at supporting young people aged 16-24 years onto an employment pathway by providing funding to create job placements.

Natasha says this job will give her the “opportunity to gain the confidence and skills she needs to build her future career in catering. I’m really excited to be starting”.
