Care Plus Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Cath Gregory as a non-executive director, with effect from January 1, 2014.
A Certified Management Consultant of the Institute of Consulting since 2005, Cath has an MSc in Organisation Development & Consultancy, and an MBA.
Cath’s first career was in operations in the rail industry. Born in Sheffield, Cath moved with work to Grimsby in 1980 and subsequently became British Rail’s first female area manager, based in Lincoln. After other area manager roles she moved into HR in Birmingham where she was part of the team taking a train operating company through privatisation. Her last post was customer services and human resources director of a train operating company.
Since 1999, Cath has worked as a management consultant. First independently then with a business partner, she has concentrated on helping voluntary sector organisations and social enterprises develop their strategies and their organisations. During this time, she has also gained valuable experience as a local charity trustee.
Commenting on the appointment, Care Plus Group chief executive Lance Gardner said:
“I welcome Cath’s appointment and look forward to the contribution she can make to the business. With her skills in organisational development and industry experience, I’m sure she will be an asset to the Board.
“Cath’s appointment closely follows the appointment of our new chairman, Colin Childs and we now have our full complement of Non-Executive Directors with Cath joining Yvonne Bramall and Craig McKay.”
