New Welfare Benefit Clinic for people with cancer or a palliative care diagnosis to Launch in Immingham

A new Welfare Benefit Clinic for people with a cancer or palliative care diagnosis is to launch in
Immingham later this month. The first clinic is taking place on Tuesday 22nd September from 9.30am – 12 noon at the Roxton Practice in Immingham. 

People with cancer and or palliative care needs, their carers or family can pop in for advice on disability benefits such as: Personal Independence Payment, Attendance Allowance or Carers Allowance. There will also be information on: grants, travel insurance and funeral poverty. A private room will be provided at the surgery for one to one consultations by prior appointment.

Organised by Care Plus Group and manned by expert Macmillan Social Welfare Officers, clinics have been planned up until the end of the year and will take place on the following dates: 27th October, 24th November and 22nd December 2015.
