Care Plus Group is very pleased to announce the appointment of Naveen Judah as a Non-Executive Director, with effect from January 17, 2022.
Naveen has a background in Accountancy, starting his career with a firm of Chartered Accountants in London before leaving after 10 years, as a Senior Auditor to move into (as he says) “the cut and thrust of business”. In addition to Accountancy, Naveen holds an MBA from Sheffield Hallam University and is a keen advocate of Continuing Professional Development.
In business he has held senior finance and management roles in East and South Yorkshire. He was Finance Director for the UK operations for a very large American multinational as well as leading on mergers and acquisitions for them across Europe. He also led on post-acquisition integration of the companies.
Naveen then used his transferable skills in leadership roles in Further Education Colleges. He also worked as a Senior Business Consultant and trouble shooter for a major Consultancy firm in the Further Education sector.
Outside of work, Naveen is a well-known member of his local community, not least because of his considerable involvement in the third sector (specifically working with vulnerable and disabled people). Naveen also has many years lived experience of the Health and Care sector being a carer for an adult son with autism and severe disabilities.
Commenting on the appointment, Care Plus Group Chief Executive, Jane Miller said:
“I would like to welcome Naveen to the Board of Care Plus Group. Naveen brings with him extensive experience of different sectors and with his Accountancy and business background will bring valuable skills to our Board.
“I have no doubt that Naveen will be an absolute asset to Care Plus Group.”
Paul Watson, Care Plus Group Chair, added:
“I am really pleased to welcome Naveen onto the Board of Care Plus Group. Naveen brings with him a wealth of experience both professionally and through his lived experiences and I have no doubt he will bring a skill set to us which will be invaluable as we move the organisation forward in the future. We welcome Naveen and hope he enjoys his tenue of office with us as Non-Executive Director.”
Naveen Judah concluded:
“I am honoured and humbled to become part of an organisation that is totally patient care centred in everything it does. I am eagerly looking forward to rolling up my sleeves and making a difference.”
