Care Plus Employability Services are taking part in the innovative ‘Working Lunch Programme’.
The programme is to be piloted at John Whitgift Academy in Grimsby and will be delivered across 9 other academies across North East Lincolnshire. The aim of the programme is to educate young people on the different career options and industries that are available to them.
Care Plus Employability Services have been donating their time to inspire and encourage work ethic among pupils and explain the health and social care sector, career pathways, skills and qualities that young people need to access the industry.
Matthew Head, Serco 14-19 Consultant stated “I was particularly struck by the level of engagement of the young people. It often takes until week three to get the level of interaction and responses that you achieved.”
