HOPE Classes and Groups

There’s so much more on offer at HOPE after your rehabilitation

After you’ve attended one of our programmes, you can still benefit from ongoing maintenance sessions, as well as both exercise and social groups and activities, which are delivered both at the Val Waterhouse Centre and in the community.

PLEASE NOTE, SOME OF OUR COMMUNITY GROUPS HAVE NOW RETURNED TO FACE TO FACE SESSIONS, WHILST  OTHERS ARE STILL BEING DELIVERED VIA ZOOM. PLEASE CONTACT US FOR MORE DETAILS.

  • Tai Chi – weekly sessions at community venues in Immingham and Scartho, but numbers are currently limited and some restrictions are in place to ensure that sessions are COVID safe
  • Hope Social – for anyone who wants to join us for a good chat, plenty of laughs and a quiz (currently meeting Wednesday, 11am, via Zoom)
  • Chair Based Exercise – weekly session at Immingham Civic Centre has now resumed, although numbers are limited and some restrictions are in place to ensure that sessions are COVID safe
  • Piscatorial Codgers Fishing Club – support group for elderly and / or disabled who want to go fishing but cannot do so without help. Sessions will now resume in early 2022.
  • Grouchy Old Men’s Club – social club for older men (held outside the fishing season)
  • Rehab Plus – weekly maintenance sessions for patients who have completed one of our rehabilitation programmes. Limited sessions currently being delivered on Zoom.
  • Handmade by Hope arts and craft group – think you’re not creative? Think again! Limited sessions being delivered on Zoom.
  • The Hope Choir – singing is great for both physical and mental wellbeing. We hope to re-commence our weekly sessions soon.
  • The Hope History Club – currently meeting on the last Wednesday afternoon of every month on Zoom.
