Staff Member
I have worked with vulnerable adults for the past 13 years in different capacities, initially working for voluntary agencies before progressing to complete my Social Work qualification in 2013. I have worked for CPG since 2015 as a social worker in the Community Urgent Care Team progressing to Advanced Practitioner. In the past 12 months I have moved into a newly created role, Lead Professional Social Work & Safeguarding. This has given me a managerial/strategic perspective whilst maintaining a ‘frontline’ viewpoint with bank shifts in roles in CUCT and as a Best Interests Assessor.
I am looking forward to being a staff governor to champion the voice of the staff, advocating their views using my social work skills & values. I hope to promote the organisation pushing forward in shaping the future of services with involvement from those with lived experience to ensure our service benefit those individuals and their community positively.
