Paul is our current Chair of Care Plus Group Board, having previously been on our Board as a Non–Executive Director.
Paul is a Registered Nurse by background and has held several senior posts across primary care, secondary care, and commissioning, as well as having significant independent sector experience.
Paul still practices clinically on a part-time basis.
He is a previous Trustee of Lindsey Lodge Hospice and a past Chair of the Yorkshire and Humber Board of the Royal College of Nursing.
Paul has provided expert nursing advice at a national level around safer staffing levels of nursing. He has also worked in Romania and South Africa as a volunteer.
Paul practises as an independent celebrant, conducting person centred funeral and celebration of life services.
Paul lives locally in North East Lincolnshire, with his partner who is a social worker and has a daughter and three grandchildren.
Paul’s hobbies include travel, and he is a keen football fan – his teams being Liverpool, and of course our local club, Grimsby Town FC.
