I have worked within the care section for over 20 years now. I started out as an agency health care assistant, working for BNA (The British Nursing Agency) gaining experience in most sectors of the health care provision such as: general wards, elderly wards, Paediatric wards, end of life wards, palliative care unit, A&E, day clinics, physical disability sheltered accommodation, learning disabilities independent living homes, adolescent psychiatric & psychiatric unit, home help, nursing and residential care, working all available shift patterns.

I moved onto child minding for three years before moving to this area with family, as this area is their childhood home. After working temporarily in a well-known fast food chain for the first three months I then moved to Care Plus Group within Day Services as a Bank Support Worker. During my time within the Day Services I’ve progressed through positions made available to me until I successfully became Team Leader of Queen Street Resource Centre and then Cromwell Road Resource Centre.
